On April 14th, Oregon’s Coordinating Council on Ocean Acidification and Hypoxia (OAH Council) put on a First Annual OAH Symposium. The Symposium provided an update on 2021 House Bill 3114 which awarded $1.9 million in state funding to thirteen OAH Projects in Oregon. With over 80 stakeholders, resource managers, journalists, and invested members of the public in attendance, this event was a great step in spreading awareness and interest in ocean change in Oregon. | |
