OPAC Meetings
The governor-appointed Ocean Policy Advisory Council works with the public to make recommendations on issues of ocean policy ranging from ocean-based energy generation plans to developing marine reserves in the territorial sea. The council's Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is chaired by the Sea Grant director serves and under OPAC rules serves as a member of the Council's Executive Board.

The Ocean Policy Advisory Council met virtually on September 29, 2022.
The Ocean Policy Advisory Council met virtually on November 4, 2021.
The Ocean Policy Advisory Council met virtually on May 17th 2021.
The OPAC Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) will meet on April 18, 2025.

STAC is not required to include public comment as part of their meetings, however all meetings of the STAC shall be available and accessible to the public to attend.
